This work is precise, exploratory, delicate, controlled – however, despite the seemingly fragile nature, it is surprisingly resilient and transformative. The individual pieces are merely summations or fractals of the body of work just as individual memories are small fractions of larger, complex, ever-growing systems. Organic shapes taken from natural elements are a source of reference, however, my endeavor is to create an environment where these natural shapes become contained within the architecturally rigid, geometric spaces of our society.
